Experiences:

As a dedicated member of the METU Sailing Club throughout my bachelor’s degree, I had the privilege of learning the fundamentals of sailing and advancing my skills in a supportive and enthusiastic community. The club served as an ideal platform for practical learning, and I had the opportunity to attend a comprehensive yacht tutorial in Datça, Muğla. Additionally, I represented the club in a competitive race organized by the Bodrum Offshore Yacht Club. Through these experiences, I honed essential skills such as navigation, strategic planning, and teamwork, all of which enriched my understanding of sailing and taught me invaluable lessons in coordination and adaptability.

Building on this foundation, I now serve as the Chair of the Race Committee, a leadership role in which I take full responsibility for organizing and overseeing sailing races in Çeşme, Marmaris, and Bodrum. I actively coordinate with leading yacht clubs and boat owners, ensuring seamless collaboration between all stakeholders. Beyond logistics, I lead the planning and execution of races, manage team arrangements, and oversee critical decision-making processes, reinforcing my ability to handle high-pressure events with precision and efficiency.
